Research question: What wishes and needs do students have in relation to digital learning environments, especially with regard to independent courses?

About: This research was conducted for the digital development team of LAB School of Apllied sciences. The goal of the research is to find out the needs and wishes of students in relation to digital learning environments and to give recommendations on what should be taken into account in the design of digital learning environments in order to achieve a good learning experience.

Project timeline

Week 1

  • Defining the research question and choosing the research methods

  • Creating a survey and testing it with a prototype

  • Adapting the question based on the result from testing it

Week 2

  • Publishing the survey

  • Analysing the results from autoetnografic research

Week 3

  • Analysing the survey results

  • Six thematic interviews

  • Analysing the interview material

  • Gathering and analysing all the research results together

  • Gathering everything to the report
